Skillet Ham & Sauerkraut

Ingredients

1 (32 oz.) jar

Crispy Sauerkraut, drained

3 tbsp.

butter

2.5 lbs.

cooked ham, cut into julienne strips

3 medium

cooking apples, peeled and sliced

3 tbsp.

brown sugar

0.25 tsp.

allspice

0.25 tsp.

cinnamon

Original Recipe Makes 4 Servings

Melt butter in skillet; add ham and sauté until lightly browned. Add apple slices. Combine brown sugar, allspice, and cinnamon; sprinkle over ham and apple slices. Cook 2 minutes or until apples are just tender. Add Sauerkraut; cover and simmer 10 minutes.
